Joanne Jones
Office Manager / Treatment Assistant (CDA/RDH)
Her great passion for working with others has made Joanne the “Rock of Gibraltar” of our practice. She has called our practice her “home away from home” since 1974. Yes, that’s right–nearly 45 years with our practice! You will not find a more dedicated, hard-working person anywhere in America that cares more for the patients, their wellbeing, and the quality of their dental care. She helps ease any worries or concerns you may have by listening to and answering your questions, and her extensive experience helps patients understand what to expect. Her dedication, drive for excellence, and friendly personality make Joanne an exemplary team member.
She feels privileged to be working with Dr. Argersinger and the rest of our staff. Joanne earned a Dental Assisting degree from Alamance Community College and a Dental Hygiene degree from Guilford Community College. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienist Association. Joanne resides in Orange County, where she enjoys the outdoors, church activities, and spending time with family.
Alana Argersinger
Business Manager
Alana has been instrumental in Dr. Bill’s dental career and has been by his side every step of the way. They have known each other since middle school and were married in 2003. They have two young daughters, Ellen and Millie. Alana has a diverse background: leading and overseeing large volunteer organizations; managing magazine publications; hiring nurses for UNC; and now working as Dr. Bill’s business manager. Her primary responsibility with DurhamDDS is shouldering the business management responsibilities, allowing Dr. Bill to focus entirely on serving and treating his patients.
Wendy Bowling
Dental Hygienist, RDH
Wendy has worked with us since 2012 and brings over a decade of experience in helping patients reach and maintain optimal oral health. A lifelong native of the Triangle, she grew up just down the road in Creedmoor, NC. She received her Dental Hygiene degree from UNC at Chapel Hill. Her husband and three kids keep her busy and occupied with activities, sports, and fun. Wendy is passionate about patient care, diagnosis, and education. She is a lifetime member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.
Kristi Lewis
Front Office Manager
Kristi Lewis manages the non-treatment side of our business like scheduling, patient financing, and dental insurance claims processing. She is cross trained to work with all of your insurance needs and any questions you may have. Kristi is a 2007 graduate of the dental assisting program at Alamance Community College. She is a member of the Alamance- Caswell dental assisting society. Kristi has a knowledge of all aspects of the dental office. She lives in Graham NC with her husband and daughter. In her free-time she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the mountains and beach.
Stephanie Gooch
Treatment Coordinator / Chief Assistant
Stephanie helps Dr. Bill manage therapies for our patients. Besides being Dr. Bills 3rd and 4th hand through most appointments, she is responsible for helping patients follow through with scheduling and coordinating their treatment plans in ways that work for the patients schedule, budget, and needs. Stephanie is a lifer in Durham and enjoys spending time at the beach with her family and little dog Yeti.
Morgan Minor
Treatment Assistant
Morgan joins us as a top graduate from Alamance Community College Dental Assisting program. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is an expert roller skater!
